There's a good article on HDR on Wikipedia. Just search for hdr wiki and you'll find it.

Bracketing is simply taking several photos at different exposures. The camera I used for this has automatic bracketing, so I took one at -1 and other at 0 and the next at +1. Take a look at your camera and see if it has this feature. If it doesn't you can simply fix the aperture and change the shutter speed for each photo.

Sorry to be a bother, but when you say you took 3 bracketed photos, what do you have to do to make them?

I just used ACD to resize the photo before I uploaded it. The software I use to make HDR photos is Photomatix Pro.

On the EXIF info it says ACD Systems Digital Imaging. Is that what you use for HDR?

Hi, this is an HDR photo. I took three bracketed photos of different exposures and used tone-mapping to bring out the dark clouds, shadows and sunlight.

    Glad you like it!
